| Aims | > Developing language skills (listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing skills) in order to improve the student’s fluency and Spanish usage. |
| Content | > Theory and practice of Spanish language grammar structures > Practice exercises to extend vocabulary and develop grammar usage > Communication practice: listening comprehension and speaking practice techniques > Written Spanish: reading comprehension, text analysis and composition > 1 hour per week compulsory tutorial |
| Teaching method | > The course focuses on communication and systematically apply task-based learning, giving prime importance to the acquisition of speaking and listening skills. > The teachers are first and foremost a learning stimulus for our students and put into practice both significative teaching and the inductive method. > The classroom tasks and activities (practice of grammar structures, roleplays, acting situations, pairwork, presentations, discussions, dialogues…) include functional contents and real-life situations. > The teaching materials include up-to-date written texts and audiovisual scripts. > The compulsory tutorials allow us to follow each pupil’s development and are fundamental for resolving individual language problems as well as for evaluating the pupil’s progress. |
