One-to-One / 201

Content > DILE evaluates the student’s initial level of Spanish and draws up a programme according to the student’s aims and how much time there is available for the course. The student can request any of the subjects offered by DILE or topics of personal or professional interest.
Combined Course / 202
Lessons/week > 20 + number hours requested by each student
Course length > From 2 to 36 weeks
Content Base Course + One-to-One Course
> Theory and practice of Spanish language grammar structures.
> Practice exercises to extend vocabulary and develop grammar usage.
> Communication practice: listening comprehension and speaking practice techniques.
> Written Spanish: reading comprehension, text analysis and composition.
> DILE evaluates the student’s initial level of Spanish and draws up a programme according to the student’s aims and how much time there is available for the course.
Á la Carte Course / 203
Lessons/week > To be decided by the student
Course length > To be decided by the student, after consulting DILE
Content > DILE evaluates the student’s initial level of Spanish and draws up a programme according to the student’s aims and how much time there is available for the course.


Type of student > Young people and adults who want or need to resolve particular language problems, make fast progress in Spanish, or learn Spanish for a specific purpose.
Levels > Beginner to proficiency
Students/group > 1 or 2 people, as students request, in individual lessons. In the lessons of the Base Course and the optional courses chosen, the student will find an average of 4 or 5 people (maximum 8).
Course length and dates > One-to-One Course and Á la Carte Course: at the student’s choice. Combined Course: Starting any Monday
Aims >  These will be established in a personal interview with the student.
Teaching method > The courses focus on communication and systematically apply task-based learning.
> The classroom tasks and activities include functional contents and real-life situations.
> The teaching materials include up-to-date written texts and audiovisual scripts.
> The student’s progress is continually evaluated and the teaching method of the one-to-one classes is adapted to suit the level of each student.
