> For students aged 16 and over who wish to spend an academic year in Spain, to speak and write general Spanish fluently and accurately and to learn in depth about all aspects of Spanish culture and Spanish used in the business field.

Aims > Developing language skills (listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing skills) so that the student can use Spanish fluently and accurately in both personal and professional spheres.
> Learning in great detail about the country and people of Spain by studying Spanish history, geography, art, main literary movements, economy and Spanish of the business field. Preparing students to pass any academic or business Spanish exams.
Content > Theory and practice of Spanish language grammar structures.
> Practice exercises to extend vocabulary and develop grammar usage.
> Communication practice: listening comprehension and speaking practice techniques.
> Written Spanish: reading comprehension, text analysis and composition.

> 1 compulsory tutorial a week
> N.B. DILE advises students who have no previous knowledge of Spanish and who wish to do this course, to take a beginner level Base Course for the month of September. All beginner and elementary level students on this course will do 25 lessons a week of language for the first 2 months, and will only attend the specialisation courses from the 3rd month onwards.
